Theresa Cole fell in love with paranormal romance as a teenager and spent years devouring every supernatural love story she could find. After decades of reading across genres, she stepped into publishing in 2009 and has since worked with both established publishers and independent authors.

Her editorial experience includes roles with Entangled Publishing and City Owl Press, where she served as an Acquiring Editor and Senior Copy Editor for the Mystic Owl imprint. Theresa specializes in romance and romantasy across all subgenres, pairings, and heat levels, editing stories that span fantasy, paranormal, contemporary, science fiction, magical realism, and urban fantasy, along with manuscripts that blur genre lines in unexpected ways. Her editorial approach blends clarity, structure, and collaboration, helping authors strengthen their voice while staying true to their vision, especially in stories where emotion and imagination intertwine and the edges get a little dangerous.

Born and raised in Michigan’s tip of the mitt, Theresa still calls the area home. Wife to the best husband ever and mom to five fab men, she loves Michigan summers best — though a hot coffee and cozy sweater on a crisp fall day come close. When she’s not editing, she’s wrangling her black cat, Bjorn (who was absolutely a bad dog in a previous life), playing with her grandchildren, or listening to an audiobook while crocheting yet another blanket for the back of her couch.
